As expected
This is right in the centre of Bedford's High street and is full of lovely low sofas and chairs, great for a lunchtime drink. In the evenings it attracts an older crowd and sometimes has a dj, that plays dancy music

Below expectations
The chairs in the lounge are so comfy you feel like you should be getting ready for bed, you cant go there if your ready for a night out cause it chills you out to much.
The lounge is best for a cosy drink on a date or unles you want to meet with a few girlies after work

As expected
The Bedford Lounge is a good place to meet. It is fairly central and is a comfortable place to hang and chill with your mates.
They used to have a great Jazz DJ there, called Ricardo Gazzini, who managed to capture the mood really well, and it was educational to hear just how wide ranging the jazz genre of music is. Sadly they don't hire him any more which is a pity.
So now it is just another pub with some comfy chairs....Bring back Ricardo, and bring back the edge you once had !
