Above expectations
Found this place out of boredom really. fancied a different venue from the Vine without going too far.
Friendly and relaxed unless they have a party booked as the DJ's tend to bring far too big a sound sytem for the room.
They don't ave a minimum spend on a debit card either which although only a little thing is actualy a great help since the nearest cash machine is over at the Grafton.

The Bakers Yard is just off the main road and does beer by the jug if you are in a large group. The booze is competitive and cheaper than you'd find in town, decent service and not a bad little pub in all.

Above expectations
One of my favourote haunts for a quiet drink out of the city centre. This place has a large bar, plenty of seating, as well as the regular fruity's, and an itbox, where I always try to test my brain. I normally lose!!
