If you're after a quiet drink this is the perfect place to hang out. Away from the main, larger bars in Ipswich; Church's provides a relaxing atmosphere. A tiny bar, with big leather sofas to sink into and funky canvases on the walls - it's small but one of the best in the town.

Beyond expectations
This was a well kept Ipswich secret hidden round the back of the main street behind McDonalds but last time I went in there the world and his wife were in there, so I guess all I can do is tell how good this place is.
I have an ambition of having my own bar/brasserie and this place is exactly how I pictured it.
Homely, friendly, sophisticated, stylish but welcoming and unpretenious.
Enjoy this place and make out you knew about it rather than we told you.
Lots of brownie points for that.

Above expectations
This to me is the most delightful wine bar we have. It has everything you would expect. Low lighting, black leather sofas, soft music and is just sooo relaxing. It has two floors, upstairs being restaurant which should be tried at least once when visiting. I always find myself here when I just want to catch up with the girls over a glass of wine. Sometimes I even forget where I am and take my shoes off the sofas are so comfy!! See what you think.
