As expected
It was OK. I thought the food was good, luckily it was just two of us going and so didnt have Alicia's issues.
It's a bit out of town for my liking and since the new flats have been built not as exclusive as once was.
Mortimer must be turning in his grave, if he's dead or in fact a real person.

Below expectations
I am a big seafood fan and this place to me was I godsend when I moved across the road. It was previously called Mortimers and is now called Loch Fyne. When it first opened it was known to be busy all the time, but lately something has changed. For me when I went it was the service. Surely when your whole table orders at the same time you expect to all get fed at the same time, but this was not the case and on all 3 courses there was always someone not getting fed till everyone else had finshed. In my opinion this is poor but if I have to say the food was excellent apart from the oysters (unless you like that sort of thing).
