Good ground shame about the football

29 Apr 08, 20:49 4* Above expectations

The team are good value for Championship football. The stadium is better than some premiership grounds, crowd are fantastic and there are nearly always goals. If you want to watch football first hand for under £30 with nearly always tickets available then the tractor boys are the team for you!

Lovely local team

25 Apr 08, 10:14 5* Beyond expectations

Ipswich Town are doing fairly well this season and may even get into the play -offs, although it is a bit of a long shot. The ground, placed in the centre of Ipswich is fairly nice and there is a good atmosphere at home games around the ground. Derby games are the most exciting to watch and the last one between Ipswich and Norwich had a really good pre-match build up. Overall a nice local club.

Friendly Family Atmos

23 Apr 08, 14:23 4* Above expectations

The time I’ve visited the tractor boys, the reception was very friendly. Some grounds can be really hostile (hello Leeds) but there was a family atmosphere from Ipswich. The ground looks a little tired, on the inside, but the refreshments were plentiful and I didn’t have to queue too long (although there weren’t that many away fans so I can’t comment on the facilities for the home fans)

Trying to relive former glories of Bobby Robson under ex Oxford and Ipswich midfield dynamo Jim Magilton.

(Completely uninteresting question… why was Ipswich the only team you ever managed to finish in the Panini Sticker Albums?)

Tractor Boys!

22 Apr 08, 20:54 4* Above expectations

Come on you Blues!! Obviously the best football team (slightly biased!) The food is outstanding in all of the restaurants and all of the staff are really friendly and happy to help. They do great work alongside SGR FM, check out the cheerleaders next time you go....they're supported by the best local radio station.
