The best pizza in St Albans?

Above expectations
OK. So its the closest place to the station.
And its next to a sprawling kebab house.
And the decor isn't "all that".
And it doubles as a cafe during the day.
But this family run (pretty) authentic Italian trattoria really is a hidden gem.
The italian focus on high quality simple ingredients comes to the fore in the antipasti, while the main courses offer a good mix of staple fare with a few regional specialities.
But its the pizza which brings the house down. Generous portions, a good crispy (but not too thin or floury) base with some excellent and generous toppings. Try the homemade fennel and pork sausage meatball one...
Although you can find a better pizza in London you'd be hard pressed to find one in St Albans - especially not at these prices.
