I'd never been into rugby, until and ex of mine introduced me to Tigers. She took me to a few games and i was hooked. I fantastic atmosphere in the ground. The silence of 17000 people when the fly-half's lining up for a kick to the roaring cheer when the ball goes over. The fact that you can be stood next to a supporter of a rival team, and everything is cool - There is never any nastiness, everybody's there to have a good time and watch some great rugby. And that's exactly what you get - great rugby. Leicester Tigers are one of the top clubs in Britain, and even in Europe. They bring so many young new players through their academy and train them up so that they're strong enough to play in the first team squad, and even represent England. As the title suggests, Simply Awesome.

Being a football fan, the only Rugby I had seen before was of England playing on the TV. I went to see Leicester Tigers as part of a Hen Party and I enjoyed every minute of it. The game was exciting and unpredictable. I was struck by the difference in atmosphere to a football match. It was much more civilised, there wasn't any abusive language between opposing supporters and actually some hand shakes after the game. Some of the Leicester Tigers players signed autographs after the game and took the time to meet the supporters. I would recommend a match as a great day out for the family.

Regularly beating the attendance of the football team in Leicester, this is the best rugby you’ll see in the country, outside of international. Most of the Leicester team feature in their respective national sides and it’s easy to see why. Brilliant to watch with some of the best backs and forwards around, Leicester is a grand day out for any sports fan. If you’ve never been to a rugby match before and have only seen football you will converted here. Drinks available in the stands, fans intermingled and a phenomenal atmosphere. Take the train if you’re coming here, unless you want to drive round and round the ground listening to it because you couldn’t get parked

A legendary rugby team - with some players having international status, Lewis Moody, Martin Corry, Julian White, George Chuter, Lewis Deacon and Harry Ellis to name but a few. The team train at Oval Park in Oadby and home games are here on Saturdays. Parking can be difficult on match days, although if you get there early there's an NCP next to the stadium.
