Oh dont lie, if you dont like coming here its coz you think you are too cool. This is a cheesy night out with it being compulsory to boogie. Best have a few beers though to make it more tolerable.

I think you have to be in the mood to come to the Chicago Rock Cafe and i have to admit after my last visit that mood hasnt hit me again. Its very towny and its a place to push on and get drunk and dance the night away. Its a bit of a meat market too, so if you are single then head on over.

On the market square

This is all on its own really and kinda out the way for a flowing night out. The music is ok and is best when its busy. Its certainly best to go here in a group or if you are quite drunk. I wouldnt bother in the week, there are better places to go in numpty than here.

Getting Better

This used to be full of older people who think they're still 20 - cringe worthy - but recently it's pulling in a much younger crowd.

Great if you're into your cheesy 80's music and they do pretty good food too.

It's a bit pricey - but compared to most places on a Fri or Sat night - it's the same.

Cheesy night out

This place is ok although not the best, but if you are drunk, young and wanna dance all night with some random you have just met then i think you will love this place. I find it attracts quite alot of young people, too young for me, and at weekends there can be too much pushing and shoving.

Good God.... OK again, you can't enter this place if you take yourself too seriously. If you want a laugh at the end of the night, then it's ideal. Good for a laugh and plenty of places to sit. Better, I imagine, if you are hammered!

desperate need for a makeover

This is where we always end up when we are very drunken nights out. The music is really good cheesy music that you can have a good dance to. But the drinks are over priced and the place is in a desperate need for a makeover (which I believe is taking place soon).

You want to get back to school days? listening to your very favourite music? then get to chicago's! normally for the 25+ generation, but a great night out! get your dancing shoes on, and head to the market sq in centre of northampton!

Has a reputation for where all the older people go, but recently its become really popular with the younger crowd aswell. Great range of music, cheesy classics, dance, hip hop, the lot really and it doesnt cost anymore than any of the other clubs in the area. Great place to end up on a weekend, although, its never that busy in the week
