Fat Cat is a large pub down Bridge Street in Northampton and has a nice sized drinking area out the back. They have some really decent live bands here and do great cocktails.

I really like the Fat Cat its not as chavvy as the other bridge street places and its especially good at lunch times when its not so packed as it is in the evenings. The staff are really good too even though most of them are quite young. Its chilled out and classy here.

This is a really nice bar with a good space outside too for when it really gets busy at weekend evenings. Its a good place to go for lunch time too as you can relax a bit more then. Its right in the heart of Northampton too as Bridge Street is pumping at weekends.

fat cats is in the drinking hotspot of town (bridge street) they serve good food and they have some amazing bands on. Its also a great venue to watch football as they have a huge screen.

Better at lunch time

This place gets really busy in the evenings at weekends, yet is a really nice place to sit, drink and chill out, which is why i prefer to go at lunch time when there is a little more room to move. They cope with groups really well and theres very little trouble on weekend nights.

the doesn't attract chavs.

It is always busy on a saturday night. They could do with having a few more staff and some air conditioning but generally it attracts a nice crowd of people and the last time I went they had a DJ and he was banging out some tunes.

On a friday night they used to have bands playing.

If you like a good pub then this is the place to go. I always go into Fat Cats when I am out in town. It is always busy, and they have great live bands there. The only downside is that it always takes forever to get a drink from the bar.

really popular place

its always buzzing in here as its good music, a nice outside area, and is located near all the other popular bars in towm. Its got a dark cave feeling to it which stands out from all the other places ear by and just makes a nice change to the modern look. The prices are roghlt the same as the others on the stretch but due to the mix of music, you tend to stay there a little longer

always really busy on a saturday night - but you hardly ever have to queue to get in and the queues at the bar aren't that bad either.

They serve 2 for 1 coctails on friday nights too and the foods pretty decent. Try the soup it's lovely

This is a lovely place - with regular live music, often Jazz.

There's nice outdoor garden with a bar - great in the summer - and the cocktails are good too.

A lovely bar situated in the middle of Northampton town. They produce lovely cocktails, and are always served with a smile! Always a great atmosphere whether you are on a night out with your mates or whether you are going on a date! Comfy seating inside, outside furniture with an outside bar to! under cover smoking facilities too.
