Morrisons

As expected
When shopping in Morrison’s you do get some great deals but often you don’t always need what you buy. Popping into Morrison’s for the weekly essentials can turn in to a nightmare as you end up buying things you don’t even need just because they are there and its buy one get one free! Chocolate Doughnuts are not an essential food!
However it has a really nice fresh salad section if you pop in at lunch time.
You do need to remember your pound for parking though or you will find yourself getting annoyed and just going home or being risk of getting a parking ticket!

Rubbish.

Well below expectations
There is loads to buy in this store. But the problem is that you have to pay for the car parking - and then once you've fought your way through the crowds you can them get your money back at the check-out (if you remember) and most of the time you won't. Plus before even stepping into the store you then need to find a pound coin for the trolley. It's all extra hassle for doing the groceries which is boring at the best of times. I'd rather spend more and go to a store that's easier to actually get inside of.

Who needs "every little helps" when you've got "more reasons to shop at Morrisons"....??
This market has a unique selling point! It's between a premium band and economy band supermarket. The market street is fabdabbydozee. I used to work there and you can get all sorts from the fishery, the butchers and you have more choice on what you can buy on the market street than any other supermarket

Long long queues.....

If you plan to shop in Morrisons, I would suggest you take an Ipod, a magazine and a book, preferrably Tolstoy's War and Peace because the queues in this place are so ridiculous at anytime post 9am. I don't understand why they don't open more tills. I complained about it once mind you and they did send me a voucher in compensation for waiting about 23872387 hours for a twix.... yes that IS how desperate I get for chocolate. Morrisons is what it is, but this one seems to be pretty disorganised as they go. You have to pay for parking too - hello. How annoying! They do reimburse you, but it's a stupid system
