Above expectations
This is a large Scream pub on Euston Road close to both Kings X and Euston and so good for meeting people from the station.
Standard Scream fare - cheaper drinks with a yellow card, pool tables, quiz machines, footy on the tv and reliable but unhealthy food.
I like it in there though despite leaving my student days far behind.

Better than average Scream pub

As expected
So help me, I actually quite like the Rocket. Based about five minutes walk from Euston Station, the Rocket is not in the most suitable of locations. Often incredibly smokey, and the wooden benches outside can be hazardous (especially when you are there with a drunken idiot), but it has a great atmosphere, tolerable beer, average bar staff, and I've watched some good football in this pub on it's wide screen television. Definately better when you are a student (and as such have a Yellow Card), the Scream chain has had it's bad pubs, but luckily the Rocket is a proud addition to the chain. Well worth a visit.
