No knickers, as they say. While the shop front is decked out in a glittering array of traditional barber's tool, like cut-throat razors, clipping shears etc, and the place itself is clean and pleasant, the actual service (which is what really matters) is abysmal. T The surly Middle eastern gent who attended to me was given very precise directions on what type of hair cut I wanted. my instructions were interpunctuated by ill-tempered grunts, and while I was still talking i had that sinking feeling of that the chap wasn't listening at all. However, as I was already in the chair under his 'capable' hands, I hoped for the best. When the man had finished his handiwork, I recoiled in horror from the reflection in the mirror: instead of a traditional short-back-and sides, with a touch of 40s RAF officer' I looked like a Gulag inmate who'd just been 'done' by the prison camp barber. I will certainly never step into this place again, and while these are over 20 quid I shan't see again, I at least have the consolation that my hair will grow back again, no thanks to these fellows!
