As expected
Yes, this is it - the pub where Menswear were famously signed without ever playing a gig. The celebs have since moved to the Lock and the Hawley, but this retains its Student Union gone bad vibes, and you can still argue the merits of Sleeper versus Elastica over some weak beer.

As expected
Tatty, smoky pub with a number of pool tables that restrict standing areas. Still famous for its celebrity customers so attracts a few spotters and tourists but the beer is good so why not.
