The End of the World As We Know It

As expected
Large pub slap-bang in the middle of Camden. As such it attracts everyone that Camden attracts - tourists, drug dealers, goths, indie kids, alcoholics - the full spectrum of scum and villainy that is Camden. Everyone seems to use it as a meeting place due to its location, though its so big it'll probably take you five minutes at least to find whoever you're meeting. You'll be guranteed to bump into some interesting types whilst looking for your friend though.

The Worlds End,

A famous rock pub opposite Camden Town tube. Good live rock music. Large main bar and a sizeable side bar. The beer is ok. Worth a look if you like guitar music and the scene.
Ok pub, good meeting place.

This is a strange pub , it is huge, with loads of different areas and rooms. It's a good first pub of the evening, as its right next to Camden tube and so an easy place to meet. The clientele is a strange mixture of Camden indie kids, teenagers, travelers and older men who clearly enjoy their beer. There's a fun atmosphere though, especially on the weekend. The World's End doesn't try to be something it isn't , it's very happy being a slightly run down big old pub.

The centre of Camden is not somewhere for the faint hearted. Based on an inappropriate reputation of "Cool", the centre of Camden is one of those places you can grudgingly set foot in during the day, but should never go near at night. As a result of it's location, The World's End is already struggling as a venue, but it does fight back from this disability well. With a nice spacious building, acceptable beer, and a tolerable atmosphere, it isn't a bad place. If you do find yourself in Camden, there are much worse places to be. It's just not somewhere I'd personally want to be.

Big Friendly Pub in Camden

Above expectations
This is the biggest pub ive been to in camden, and one of the best ones. Seats are limited so I expect to stand even when it doesnt look half full. Friday and Saturdays are its busiest times but theres a really good atmosphere then. Theres a downstairs part where bands play most nights from 9pm which vary from rock to metal to punk and costs about a fiver to get in. If you are in Camden go there if you can because most of the pubs in camden are too small to cope with the number of people it attracts
