Over-priced, nothing that special

This place is really quite odd, very narrow and small, tables down either side, very dark and altogether a bit average really. The drinks are over-priced and SERIOUSLY strong, I had to complain and sent the drink back, but all they did was put it in a different glass with some more ice...rubbish!
I don't know why this place is so popular, maybe just it's location...I certainly wouldn't bother going back again!

This place offered alot at first glance with cool decor and good drinks but for some reason it is drained of all atmosphere. Maybe that is very airy and white makes it unatractive as a night spot.
Also well over-priced for what you get this place almost hit the spot but unfortunately fell flat on it's face. The only plus is the private room which is uncomfortable but very nicely decorated. You will need to book now for a table in 2012 though!
Not recommended as a regular place to drink but probably worth a visit to see the place.

Well below expectations
This place is grim and I don't know why it's so well known (maybe because it's in the St Martin's Lane Hotel). It feels like some kind of temporary makeshift structure erected in the middle of the lobby, which for some incomprehensible reason is still there, years later. The cocktails are good, but when you've had to take out a mortgage to get one, you'd expect them to be. And it's too dark, and too narrow, and the chairs are uncomfortable. Stringfellows is round the corner, and I have a feeling the two places share a customer base. (But the hotel rooms are cool! They have, like, tables that light up!)
