4 reviews for Cybercandy

Sweet!

06 Nov 07, 11:53 4* Above expectations

I first found out about Cybercandy on the internet when looking for Lucky Charms cereal - and I was crazy enough to pay about £10 for a box! I thought if I came to the shop it would save me money but the prices are still rather extravagant considering most stuff is from America and it's very cheap over there anyway!

Besides that it's a great shop to visit for a few little treats, like nerds and vanilla Dr Pepper, as well as loads of Cadbury chocolate items they don't sell over here. But if you go in there thinking of buying people presents, don't think you'll come out with much money left!! :)

best candy shop

i must say this is one classic shop, because they have sweets which aint avaliable to purchases in your corner shops like they use to have! Even though the prices on the sweets are very expensive people still tend to buy sweets from here. this shop sells sweets from america, japan, south africa, canada and few other places! i think it is great, that theres a shop like this around giving people the opportunity to try out different sweets! They even sell gift vouchers for 'cyber candy'!

Sweet, but expensive

28 Jun 07, 22:02 3* As expected

Cybercandy is technically a great sweet shop. It has sweeties, chocolates and drinks imported from America, Japan and Europe. For example, it's the only place in London to get Mountain Dew, the slightly popular green-coloured caffeinated citrus drink that was around in the 90s. I love this drink, but unfortunately, not everyone else did, which is why it went out of production.

The main problem with Cybercandy is the price. I know that they have to import things so I should expect some kind of mark up on the prices, but £1.10 for a can of Mountain Dew means I will only buy it on special occasions. £1.20 for a pack of Nerds too - I remember when they were 35p from Mr Patani's shop on my street when I was a kid. If they reduced their prices a bit, I'd buy more stuff here. As it is though, it's only stopping me from getting high blood sugar levels.

Trusted Local

We love candy.

25 Jun 07, 15:31 4* Above expectations

This shop stocks confectionery, drinks and cereals from all over the globe and puts it all in one place. Japanese rarities, American candy and even old British classics that haven't been seen for years can all be bought here. Great fun.
