Pricey But Nicey...

A top quality fancy dress emporium with an amazing array of outfits; but unfortunately top prices come with top quality! To hire a costume you're looking at £70 (plus) with some deluxe outfits going for around £800!! You can buy cheaper outfits but the quality isn't great and is of the standard cheap fabric variety...
Angels also provide outfits to TV and film so the quality is awesome. You could literally hire a cowboy costume, go back in time (with the right technology of course) and not look out of place!

6 floors and thousands of costumes to chose from. With more on the way having bought part the BBC's wardrobe!
5 of us went one lunctime to get our themed costumes(The Adams Family), with friendly and efficient staff we were well looked after and what could have been a chore, was great fun, all done and dusted inside 40 minutes.

When I went here, the staff werent the least bit interested in serving me. So I just wandered around aimlessly and left. Honestly, no suggestions or thoughts about costumes. Its a weird place.

Panic-buying costumes

I have to admit I haven't actually bought anything here, but I think everyone should know about it.
As you can imagine, when a guy needs to get a rabbit outfit, he probably hasn't a clue where to start. In fact, Angels is it. They have a staggering array of costumes, and I believe the shop only houses a small proportion of them. (I have heard that it boasts the largest warehouse of fancy dress in Europe or something...?)
Check out the website too for things to buy. A darth vader outfit for £900, anybody?
However, a moral of this story if that if you need a rabbit outfit quick, you really out to start looking before the day before Easter Sunday, because even Angels will run out of rabbit stuff. I'm currently in the market for a gorilla outfit, and Angels has about 4, differing in price and quality!!

Black tie, smart-casual, lounge suits: all of these things we can deal with - but fancy dress? Pirate parties, masked balls, Twenties dances, T-parties, tube station themes: really, don't people have anything better to do all day than root around charity shops to put together outfits? No, not really, which is why I love having themed parties... however, if you're less enthusiastic about DIY-dressing, then head to Angels. This store has many of the original costumes bought from films, (hire of these will set you back at least 80 quid a night) and new things (far cheaper). Staff will also give you hair and make-up tips. Whatever the concept, this place has the sartorial solution. So there, no excuses.
