Beyond expectations
Having been closed for many months, the best record shop in London is back. With a large range of albums, books and DVDs, and some outrageoous bargains, Fopp is almost guaranteed to leave your wallet a good deal emptier than it was when you went in.

Above expectations
My new favourite record store. Having got tired of the massive HMV's of the world I went to check out Fopp for my record buying needs today and was pleasantly surprised...
Lots of cheap records and films (and not the usual crap compilations and tv movies most stores are normally desperate to get rid of) and not overly busy; I could've spent hours casually browsing the shelves and exhausting my bank account!
Also, the staff are quite friendly and don't treat you like your waiting at a supermarket deli!
I'm now officially converted!

Beyond expectations
Cheap CDs, books and DVDs! The shop has a great selection of music ranging from heavy metal to the cheesy musicals. Their prices range from £3 and up, so before you head out to the bigger high street names, give this a go first, you may be well surprised by the different pricing.

Beyond expectations
I am very, whatr am I saying, VERY sad to announce Fopp has now closed down DEFINITELY. I used to be a regular there, just to have a look (however, to be honest, I always ended up buying something there!). They had a great selection of DVDs and books (what I was after) and the price was really reasonable, even real cheap!
That's really bad independent stores are closing down like that and I hope they'll open a new one soon!

As expected
Fopp's motto - "Suck it and see" - sums up the shop pretty well. If you want to buy mainstream CDs, DVDs and books at sensible prices, this should be your first stop over the HMVs and the Virgin Megastores. The range at this shop isn't too big, but there's always the huge one up Tottenham Court Road if you want a bigger Fopp.
