Secret Place in the heart of the west end

Above expectations
Salvador and Amanda is 2 baby steps away from Leicester Square tube but not many people know about it. It's perfect as a meeting place and have a quick drink before you go on somewhere else. OR for a nice relaxing evening of drinking and eating.OR actually a good venue for a good night of eating! Tourists never seem to stumble in there which is fab.
Decor is very Spanish. Lots of different tables and settings and loads of things to look at - if by candleight.
Menu is basically Sangria and Tapas and really good value.
Tuesday is Paella night and if I remember correctly, Monday - Thursday has happy hour.
Only problem is, it seems only to be open in the evenings...

Quite nice

As expected
This is a medium sized venue just by Covent Garden. I've not eaten there but it was good to drink in one night. There are quite nice sized booths which is always good.
I'd recommend their sangria which I seem to remember was well priced and pretty alcoholic!

Well below expectations
I have only been here a couple of times for leaving parties and birthdays and I wouldn't hurry back. It's dark and stuffy and the tapas is greasy. That is my personal opinion, a lot of my friends really enjoy for a night out, so give it a go and make up your own mind.
