I kind of agree with what Myles and Ash have said here. This place has always been good in my experience (for mens hair cuts).

They offer very friendly service and can always offer appointments at short notice. So if you are looking for a reasonably priced (for Central London) hair cut then this is the place for you!

They didn't pay attention!

I went here as it's a stone's throw from work but don't think i will return.

I'm not too fussy about my hair cuts as i have curly hair so it generally always looks a mess! But i do expect the person holding the scissors to at least look at what she is doing, rather than watch the world go by outside!

Seriously - she wasn't paying attention. Which she proved when she cut herself. Having to wait while she found a plaster was not good.

You could walk past this place every day and miss it but that would be your loss.

It describes itself as a 'Concept Salon' but apart from the TVs blaring adverts at you i see no evidence of new or abstract ideas. But then again it's only a hairdresser and not a Oxford College, which is exactly how i like my hairdressers - straightforward, firendly and good value.

Tim the owner is often available at short notice (not sure if that's a good thing) but he's a nice guy and does a good trim. I see lots of women in there getting a range of cuts and treatments and they all seem happy enough with the service.

The prices are also very reasonable - £20 for a gents haircut in central london is great - much cheaper than places like Fish where you pay extra to cover the cost of their painfully-cool salon accessories and horde of indie-kid-hairdresser-wannabies who hang around like teenagers at an X-Factor audition.

If you want a good, reliable haircut in a unpretentious place at good value then go to O'Sullivans.

Neat salon in the heart of Covent Garden. Always chatty and talented staff, and not too bad pricing wise either (for bloke's haircuts, at least). Ask for Jason - always a star.
