Fabien Cordiez, French Lawyer & Solicitor

My name is Fabien Cordiez. I live near Aix-en-Provence, in South-Eastern France, am married and have 4 children.

I qualified as solicitor in France in 1994 and became a solicitor of England & Wales in 2000. I worked in London for seven years, in large solicitors' Firms and as Legal Counsel for a major City Bank. I returned to France in 2002 to set up my individual practice, which is dedicated to helping English-speaking customers that need assistance with French Property or inheritance law.

Having lived in Britain where I retain close family links and often travel to, I understand how France's legal system may sometimes be confusing under a UK or an Irish perspective.

My offices are established in Aix, the heart of Provence, but I work nationally across France and other parts of the world. I welcome customers to come and see me at my premises, but in practice, most communication is handled via the phone and email.

As a sole practitioner, I approach French property law in a very individual and responsive way, to the benefit of my customers.
