Above expectations
One of the best pubs in Hempsted, not to far away from the high street and situated in a expensive suburban area. This traditional pub originated in the 70's and has a friendly warm welcoming atmosphere. They serve some brilliant real ale. There are usually two time slots for serving lunch and dinner from monday to friday, the food tastes delicious.

Beyond expectations
The Holly Bush reminds me of the traditional, picturesque and quintessentially British pubs that are always depicted in American movies. It's hidden away among windy pavements just behind Hampstead High Street, and is a wonderful pub. There is a very cosy and homely atmosphere. The pies are phenomenal , you must try one if you go, but make sure you're hungry because they're not small.
