If your planning on going here for Sunday lunch then take my advice "book in advance". It gets so busy!! But fair enough it is very nice inside with the open fire place roaring away in the winter and the food is alot better than your standard pub menu. As the pub is tucked away in the little hidden streets of Hampstead, its a very locals local, which is good in a way as its not full of tourists anoying you! The only negative thing i found was the people that turned up to eat without booking would seem to stare at you, waiting for you to fininsh so they could swoop in and take your table.
