This is a great pub with great food. The Sunday Roast is incredible. It's also good for a cheeky pint on the way home from work.
Sometimes they have entertainment like stand-ups and musicians.
But the food is what does it for me. Not cheap, but really tasty.

Pub with great food

The food at the Oxford is great - this is exactly what gastropub food should be about. Always reliable with good service and for a reasonable price.
The Pork Belly (as mentioned before!) is always great.
The pub at the front of the place is great too - that is if you manage to get a seat. The one downside to the place is that the actual bar/pub is quite small - and while this makes it have a great atmosphere if you can sit down, it is a bit over crowded if you can't.

The Oxford is a fashionable yet comfortable put/restaurant in Kentish Town. It has a good selection of wines and beers and the clientele chat away happily under candlelight. The food is British/French and is very rich but very good. There's also an upstairs room that I believe you can hire out for parties.

Pub with excellent food

The Oxford is the best pub in Kentish Town. The staff and clientele alike are friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The restaurant in the back offers really good food. The food is worthy of a very good restaurant (I had duck breast with fondant potatoes which I would definitely recommend) but the prices are reflective more of a pub. If you're in the area The Oxford is definitely worth a visit.

Nice Pub, No Sports

"If this place was in Birmingham it would be the best bar in the city," said a friend of mine. He's not wrong, the problem is that isn't really saying much. The Oxford is a nice pub, beer is reasonably priced, and there are some good foreigners on tap. There is also a good restaurant at the back that does some hearty English food at central London prices. The pork belly is amazing.
Please note that this places does not play sports, which is quite handy if you are looking to find a seat on pretty much any night of the week during the football season.
