Kentish Town pub

Beyond expectations
The Torriano is a very small, local pub tucked away from the more obvious drinking establishments in Kentish Town. It's location means that the customers are all locals, and the husband and wife that run the pub make an effort to get to know their regulars. This is pretty rare for North London, in my experience. The Torriano has won awards for it's range of real ale, and the wine list is extensive too. The Torriano serves great food, and has lots of different nights, including a quiz and regular barbeques. So the Torriano is a great place to have a few local drinks..but it's also lovely in the day - great for a coffee and a chat.

My Favourite Pub in Kentish Town

Above expectations
The Torriano was the venue for my first pint as a Londoner and therefore will always keep a special place in my heart. But it is the great atmosphere, BBQ on a Sunday and the lashings of boardgames that will keep me coming back. It is not exactly in Kentish Town as you have to make a short walk up Leighton road, but it is well worth the journey, and you may bump into local celebrity Jon Snow on the way.
