As expected
A very large library with a wide range of books but nothing special. Large amounts of books are sold off all the time but the new stock is unexciting. Sections all have very general and ordinary books.
There is an extensive computer section always filled with quiet and very well behaved people. An extensive DVD section some available for free if education DVD's is your thing. The classical music section seems huge if that is your scene then this is the place. I magazine section is always well stocked and back copies are always on hand.
Over all a large and quiet library with very general interest books but good for a classical music fan.

Beyond expectations
The Barbican library is great. It has a wide range of fictional books as well as educational books, travel guides and the internet. Tables allow members to work or read quietly in the library. The adjoining children's library is also well stocked. You must either work or live in the local area to join.
