This is a large pub on the South Bank of the Thames near London Bridge, it is very reasonable in it's pricing and is decorated in a Victorian style.
The Horniman family where in the tea trade and I am guessing that the tea must have been landed here or the family offices were close by.

The Horniman family name has belonged to a few things over the years. They made thier money through the tea trade and built the famous Horniman Museum in South London Which I used to go to as a child.
I am guessing that either the tea was landed here or that the family company offices were here for the name to be carried on like this.
The pub is large with exceptional views of the river and is also, for London, very reasonable in it's pricing. It is decorated in Victorian style which adds to it's charm.
Yes, It's called Horniman

The place is a little underwhelming from the inside, but if you work near London Bridge i'd recommend you go and try it out anyway - especially on a warm evening cos then you can stand outside and take in the lovely view of the river and HMS Belfast. Reasonably priced too, from what i can remember.
Groups: What's a new platform anyway?
