Best Secret in Greenwich

Beyond expectations
I have lived in Greenwich for 2 and a half years and only in the last 8 months have I discovered Olivers;
Olivers always has an original line-up; typically jazz however my girlfriend once invited me to a night out where we ended at Oliver's to enjoy a poetry evening; as a typical male my first reaction of to run however it was one of the best nights I have personally enjoyed there; Drinks are served at a small bar which is very well stocked and prices are cheaper that other local venues; The place it split into three sections; the stage area/ bar and lounge, so if you just want to drink and not pay for a ticket to the jazz it's a great option but watch you head down the tunnel :) What is particularly nice about Olivers is that it's very real not polished or artificial like many of the new refurbished venues now to be found in the high street;

Just what a jazz/blues club should be! It reminds me of Harry's Bar at the Bricklayers Arms, Trafalgar Road Greenwich in the 1970s. A great night out when the right music is on show.
