Beyond expectations
Did you know there is a dragon bar in Hastings Old Town, same owners and a great place for food!! We moved down from London a year ago and found this bar a really funky place with cool djs, great design and art work.
Like the deserts miss the rain!

Beyond expectations
This was by far my favourite bar and i daily scan Shoreditch High street awaiting it's re-opening! PLEASE can someone tell me if they have any news on it's relocation?.. According to the sign they put up it should already have re-opened by now!!!

Beyond expectations
Dragon Bar is no more, although they will be opening at a new location on Shoreditch High St later this year according to a sign on the window a couple of weeks ago.

As expected
This place is absolutly amazing and distinguishing but with a dark and melancholic atmosphefere. It is a particulare place with porcelain objects, lantern lights and velvet curtains. I felt comfortable because the bar is really friendly and funny and you don't have to wear elegant clothes to enter!!

Beyond expectations
Packed with arty types with asymmetric haircuts, tattoos and skinny jeans, a no-suits policy, Banksy stuff on the walls, graffiti covered toilets with no ladies/gents markings just to confuse the newbies, loud, eclectic music, could be dancehall or heavy rock or electro, usually packed, no room to move let alone dance. You'll know from that right away if you'll hate it. I love it and have never had a bad night there.
The only bad thing I have to say about it is that I usually regret it the next day.

This bar is shockingly outrageously funky and different! I think it has a new york style to the bar. The place seems to be surrounded in eccentric artwork like graphfiti and cool furniture idea's which can keep you entertained by just looking around the place! the music is good for those into funk/electric/tech/dance.

Dragon Bar is so cool that there isn't even a sign marking where it is; you just have to know. However, the clientele aren't half as pretentious as you'd presume. Dragon Bar is very long and thin, with exposed brick walls and a more chilled out room downstairs. The music is great, especially on Fridays when the DJ plays a fantastic selection of hip hop.
