Many great evenings have been spent unwinding with a beer and a meal in this fine pub, and many lively Friday night outs have started here as well!
In an area which has a mixed reputation for the quality of pubs and restaurants, this one stands out from the crowd as a good place to go. The atmosphere is great and the food is good.
The only down point I can think of is that the beer (larger) can be a bit variable in quality, but then it is larger isn't it!
Friday nights can be busy with a lively crowd of young professions (well at least thats what we pretend to be) who work in the local area.
Also great on the quieter nights and weekends.

Above expectations
Just round the corner from Olympia, this pub does good-quality food at sensible prices (£6-9 dish). Always has proper cask bitter on and a good selection of wines. You can reserve tables for a large party and it also has a nice spacious outside area down one side of the pub. Definitely to be recommended
