Above expectations
Bagels are just the best I've ever had, and their cream cheese-filled ones are the quickest way to delight. Lovely. Their bread is also really excellent.
I'm not so sold on the cakes - they always seem to taste a bit bland - but there's a huge range of giant slabs of colourful cakes, so perhaps I should keep trying till I find a good one!
I really miss this place since I moved... sigh...

Happiness is a big bag of warm bagels!
These bagels are made fresh in the store and as you wait to be served you can watch the bagelers bageling in the back.

Above expectations
Sitting right opposite the entrance to finsbury park, this spot is ideal for picking up you picnic lunch. The bagels are nice, if limited to about 4 fillings (and they come wrapped in cling-film). You can see everything is made fresh on site. What is even better than the bagels are the pastries, cakes and buns - a sizeable array in the cabinet. I recommend the cream slice - yum!
