Great when the football's on

As expected
Nice enough pub for a spot of daytime drinking. Not far from Finsbury Park station, fills up with Arsenal fans post-match. Interior is OK, if not a little dark, but the place comes alive during the football. The food looked OK, especially the burgers, which looked unusually lavish. Really have to sort out the toilets though - they really smell and the pong wafts though the area near the big screen. Good pub for a couple of quiet drinks/football.

As expected
The World's End is a chain of pubs and pretty much copies the formula of weatherspoons with cheap drink offers and 2 for £5 set food menus. It lacks any character as a pub until the football is on sky so I would only go then. If the football isnt on and you're in finsbury park for a drink, I'd suggest you walk down stroud green road to somewhere else.
