A very nice place.
It has a lot of pool tables with plenty of spare cues, so you don't have to swap cues! Games, are a little pricey at £1.20 but not too bad.
There's air hockey and arcade shooter ups available as well as gambling machines which i didn't use.
The bowling is pretty decent with 8 or so lanes. Games cost £8 for up to 4 people and include shoe hire. There may be a discount for off peak times. There are plenty of balls available and you are left alone to play your game, so I don't know where this fealing of "undesirables" being around and intimidating comes from.
NB. admission is £1

Good experience, Nice atmosphere, will defiantely come again. Value 4 money. With friendly staff and lively personalities. If you wanna just chill , play pool , arcades or bowl it can be done all under one roof.
Rowans Leisure (10 pin bowling)
17 May 07, 21:28
As expected
This leisure complex has 10 pin bowling, pool, arcade games, bars and food. Reasonably priced but a little rough around the edges, reminded me of Southend seafront where I grew up. Expect groups of more chavey teenagers, don't let this put you off if you fancy a night of bowling etc in the north London. To go with OK larger or small range of bottled drinks and sprits, try a basket of cheap burger and chips with ketchup and mayo uniquely available at these types of places and all night takeaways. Other deep fried reformed meat product delights fill the menu. Obviously only eat if you need sustenance for the bowling and drinking which would be the reason to go here , not the food. Good fun in a group.

Rough bowling alley
16 May 07, 10:41
Well below expectations
This bowling alley is as rough as they come. It seems to be some sort of meeting area for the less desirable residents of Finsbury Park, and so has quite an intimidating feel. Go further North to Finchley Hollywood Bowl for a more pleasant bowling experience.
