rough & slow, with average food

Well below expectations
Let's be honest for a moment. The reason something is often called fast food is because you consider it fast. As a result, how many times have you set foot inside a takeaway and expected quick, helpful service. The major problem with Pizza Extra is that you honestly don't feel like you are in a takeaway with any idea of what they are doing. Everything, cookers, etc, is hidden behind red wooden boarding. The staff look like they don't want you there, and are less than friendly. The food, to be fair, is acceptable, although the burger suffers from a strange McDonalds Big Mac taste. This place is a dive of a takeaway. It's rough, it's incredibly slow, and truth be told, I feel almost ashamed of myself that I've set foot in there more than once.
