Easily the best takeaway curry I have had in London. The flavours are varied and delicious and there is a great variety of both meat and veg dishes on the menu. It can sometimes take an hour for a delivery at peak times but it is well worth the wait and the food is always delivered within the quoted time. highly recommended!!

Update from the `before a taste of Tiffin Tin` to an opinion of the taste after tasting.

Just one word enters the mind regarding this particular cuisine > Yummy and another word or 2 > Healthy + tasty.

I must state that on nearly ordering a plastic lunch box container eg, Tiffintin.com, i can only advise others to, perhaps, avoid the same scatty attempt to view a menu for order and to remember that Tiffin Tin is not Tiffintin.com by website.

I will not be ordering from another Indian restaurant again and the preference is shared by the others who are still in the process of devouring what is left in the Tiffin Tin containers here.

A fabulous taste of UK Indian cuisine and a strong feeling of a "Tiffin Tin " coming on, on a regular basis !!!

I can only begin with a lower rating as i will explain.-

-I am about to place an order from Tiffin tin by referral, and i quote that this is by more than 7 refferals some of whom reside within this tight community.

I have been advised to taste the offerings of this cuisine for a while now and tonight is the night.

The compliments and suggestions of menu , service and taste are solid and already a causing of mouth watering experience, i pray the realness of this image is true.

I must add, from experience, that when one has to wait a tad longer for an order to deliver or on wait, then it is a very good sign of popularity and good choice thus one, sometimes, must try and acknowledge this and try to be patient for a positive result.

I will place a post review after the tasting and hope that many will do the same to keep a flow of valued opinions of taste in this close and popular community, for that is what encourages the area to stay on a mapping of respected acknowledgment for this area of North London.

Off to collect the dinner taste now.

Diminishing Returns

I've lived round Hornsey for over three years now. The Tiffin Tin was my Indian Takeaway of choice for a long while, but I feel like I suffered diminishing returns. Deliveries are taking longer ad longer and the service generally can't be commended. It feels like The Tiffin Tin has been struggling to cope with its growing popularity. I've moved on, but I might be back.

I know it sounds like quite the claim but I have done my fair amount of takeaway research. Haviong just come back from India I can honestly say this place is the closest you'll get to the authentic great taste with a little bit extra. Deliveries are in very stylish boxes with good presentation and quick delivery drivers. The food itself is absolutely top notch. The prices aren't the cheapest but are reasonable for the quality. A must for any curry fan.

Simply delicious food. One of the best Indian meals I've ever eaten, interesting flavours, no layers of grease on top of the food, complimentary popadoms and chutney - what more can I say? I love the Tiffin Tin. My only gripe is that it seems lots of other people share my views and hence you can wait for over an hour for your food to be delivered at busy times.
