AVOID

Well below expectations
This is the worst curry I have ever had, from the articifial tasting pickles, to the sick inducing prawn dansak - no taste apart from an overpowering fishy smell/taste. It was so disgusting we only had a mouthful. Once we recieved the bill, including our large coke at £3.50 (we didn't ask for a large coke) and asked for the inedible prawn mush to be removed - the manager (I assume) refused. When I told him that no waiter had checked on us to see if our food was okay, he said it wasn't there job to do so. Excellent customer service would soften the blow of this horrible experience. But that was as bad as the food. As a waitress myself, I know how to treat customers. As a customer, I feel ripped off and very angry. Pay an extra £2 and go across the road.
AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Annoying waiters and food that passes from OK to really-not-very-good. Strongly suggest you cross the road and try their competition. Oh, forgot to mention their drink prices. 'Good god!' was my reaction when we got the bill.

Not Bad

As expected
I've eaten at this restaurant several times, and never had a bad meal. At the same time, I have never had an exceptionally great meal either. Prices are average for Islington.

This is a really nice Indian restaurant. They offer a very good value for money set menu. At firat the portion seems small then you realise that they are fine and that usually portions are bigger than you need. Excellant wine list. Good for after the cinema. Service is quick.
