Apparently Shane McGowan owns this place - and there's a man who I'd guess knows his pubs. A good jukebox, music quizes, DJs, live music, hot barstaff - once you've graduated from the Camden trend-holes then get yourself up here.

As expected
While it may be owned by Shane McGowan and visited by Pete Doherty, the bar isn't all its been cracked up to be. It is a very small place and unless you know in advance that there is a gig that night then don't bother trying to get in. Coldplay and Babyshambles play quite often but it is strictly guestlist.

As expected
It has a good reputation in the area but I just can't see what all the fuss was about. There wasnt enough space to stand when I went and the music was a bit bland although it was an acoustic set and I'm not a big fan of that. I hear on the grapevine that its a regular drinking hole for the pogues Shane McGowan and kate moss's other half Pete Doherty but it will take a lot more than them to make me come back to this place. A disappointing pub.
