Cheap dinner

Even at the end of the month when the monies ran out you can still afford to eat in here. Its really cheap with mains around a fiver, the steaks were cooked rare just as we'd asked and we couldnt fault the service.

Cheap as (goose fat) chips

This is a great place to go if you're on a budget, as you get lots of good food for very little money. The chips fried in goose fat are particularly fine, though a nightmare if you're of the vegetarian tendency. It is justifiably popular restaurant, and can get crowded so it is wise to book ahead at peak times. My only criticism is that large parties tend to get stuck downstairs in a very noisy, very dark room, so when you're booking try to get a table upstairs if you want to have an icicle's chance in hell of hearing what your dining companions are saying.

It is cheap, but the menu never changes, and i'm bored of it now. Its also at the crossroads of Farringdon and Roseberry Av, a bit of a no mans land really, right by a massive sorting office. And i saw a mouse run across the dining room floor last time.

Oh My God! Unbelievable Value for that Yummy Lunch!
All starters are £1.95 from Noon till 7pm and just 2.95 pounds after! I had Mussel Marinier and I cant believe how big and tasty that portion was!
Main Courses are just 5.95 pounds before 7pm and 7.95 pounds after. I had Ribeye Steak, and although its not a big piece, but its so tender, juicy and very tasty!!
I have already planned what I am going to have next lunch... thats.. Haddock Fillet with spicy aubergine, mashed potatoes and red pepper coulis!!
You cant find a better restaurant with that kinda quality and value in London!!!!!
