Don't bother

Well below expectations
Pub is ok to be honest however the service is particularly bad. If that were to change then we may consider going back. There is one particular female member of bar staff who is rude, loud and quite honestly is unprofessional. This is the opinion of most people in our office.
Save yourself a bad experience and go somewhere else, more friendly, for a pint.

We love the KOD

There are a group of fifteen of us that visit the KOD more than three times a week, we never have a problem, yes there can be a wait at the bar but the point is - its in the city, it has a sun terrace so sure is gonna be busy when it is sunny.
The staff work hard and the manager has never been rude to us nor have we heard she has been. I read the above review and thought what a shame someone has come on here to personally slate her. Of all the managers we have seen come and go she is bar far the most efficient and the changes she has made this year have been great. From the decor to the toilets to the staff!
Still a great selection of beers, wines etc and thank god for the sandwich offer!!
Unprofessional mangement

Well below expectations
The manger of the pub was very agressive towards her customers she had misreable face and was very rude to one of the customers getting served front of me. IT TAKES AGES TO GET SERVE and the food has no taste. I am sure there are plenty of better pubs with open terrace in London. I strongly DON't recommend this pub to anyone.
Died of thirst so went elsewhere

I must be missing the point of this pub. It doesn't seem to be anything special, yet is busy. I strongly advise that you have a haircut before you go in. You'll be needing another one by the time you've been served.
Average Pub for Holborn

Beyond expectations
A large pub based between Holborn and Farringdon. It offers a good selection of ales/ lagers / wines and spirits including Fruli , a delicious strawberry flavoured fruit beer - on tap. This pub is spread across three levels with the bottom level almost resembling a youth club, where two pool tables can be found. Tokens can be purchased at the bar to play. The ground floor, where the main bar is located, is traditionally decorated and looks as though it's been refurbished fairly recently. There are plenty of tables but it does get very busy on a weekday lunchtime. Upstairs is decorated in an eastern style and the atmosphere is much more relaxed. There is also a small outside terrace with several tables which are very popular in summer. The pub also offers a range of pub favorites. Prices for both food and drinks are fairly average for the area.
