Nice old pub

15 Apr 08, 11:39 4 Above expectations

Great little pub in farringdon, it used to be my local and was a fave of mine for a few years. It is so old looking its amazing how it manages to stay up! Has been around fro centuries and serves really good ale and food. Lots of little cubby holes and hideaway places to eat and drink with friends. Hidden away from the main crowd, but because of its size can get very crowded quickly!

Ale ale ale

16 Oct 07, 01:45 4 Above expectations

This tiny pub was once voted most romantic in London, with its little tables forcing drinkers to sit quite close. This is, of course, not really a bad thing. The Jerusalem is the only pub selling the micro-brewed St Peter's ales in London. For an ale lover the St Peter's brewery is a dream come true, an enormous variety and each as individual and flavourful as the last. A trip to the Jerusalem is always a treat.

Small Pub for Ale Fanatics

31 Jul 07, 16:05 3 As expected

I personally don't like my ales but a lot of people do, so if you are one of them I would recommend going to here as thats all they sell. I understand that its also one of the only few places that does sell a wide selection of ales in central London. Its a very small pub, probably the smallest Ive been too, so if its a Friday or Saturday night don't go unless its sunny otherwise you wont have anywhere to stand!

Quirky and unique

Give me a pub that has this much character over a Wetherspoons any day of the week. But - boy - is it small?! If you want to get in, go early...

Beautiful Local Tavern

21 May 07, 18:22 4 Above expectations

This is nearest pub to where we work - a beautiful old pub with stunning curved glass Victorian frontage which serves an eclectic mix of beers and ales that manages to steer clear of the ale pub cliches. A very friendly, cosy bar which is always packed, indeed the place suffers due to its size, which inevitably means that in the summer we tend to be drinking in the road. Serves grapefruit lager which is much nicer than it sounds.
