Good burgers, medicre customer service.

The times I've eaten here it's nearly always been very good. Once or twice the buns were a bit stale. But what really made me angry was that I went in before their stated closing time (10pm) but they refused to serve me, offering take-away service instead. If they aren't open to eat in at 9:30, then they shouldn't state their closing time as 10. I'm going to try Hamburger Union for a burger next time.

Yummy, a touch pricey

The juice-bar style interior, which bright fruit and veg panels on the walls and canteen style chairs and tables, clearly aims to make you feel that the burgers here are healthy. I can’t speak for that, but they certainly are tasty. Since I don’t eat beef, I can’t comment on the ‘proper’ burgers, but both the veggie burgers and fish finger burger (think McDonalds fillet-o-fish) are hearty and satisfying. The prices for individual burgers are a little over-inflated, but they do a good meal deal where you get chunky chips (very yummy), onion rings and a dip for £3. This is definitely a place for a lunch snack or casual evening meal, not a night out. That said, a recent meal for two cost £29, and for that price it only gets 3 stars (I would give the food and the place 4).

Fine indeed

Burgers are in my top 3 foods. And this place do a good one. This restaurant is a good example of concentrating on being good at one thing. So the burgers are fab, as are the fries and shakes. On the downside, the place is often full of whiny kids at the weekends. Suppose I can't complain if my unsophisticated palate means I have to share a restaurant with young'uns. It's the same in McDonalds.

Nice Burgers -Don't Go Deluxe

16 May 07, 20:05 3* As expected

I chose to go to Fine Burger Co this weekend over the other up market burger offerings. My burger was really nice and the chips were good too. The problem was that I had decided to go 'Deluxe,' exactly the same burger but with two slabs of beef and an extra £3 on your bill.

There was just too much meat and they hadn't increased the amount toppings to compensate. It was just was to much beef.

Fine Burger Co

Over priced and over rated. Sparse interior that's not very welcoming or comfortable. Although the special weekday offer is more value for money. Read the menu carefully its actually cheaper to add Stilton to your burger as an extra than order the Stilton burger!
