As expected
The walkabout does exactly what you expect it to do. This branch gets really packed on a Friday and Saturday night. I went there for a hen do and it was just what we wanted - with great cheesy 80s music. Get there early though otherwise you'll be queuing for ages.

Well below expectations
Since the only thing Australian about the Walkabout chain is a few members of staff, the fact that it is meant to be based on the land of Kangaroos and Shane Warne makes the pubs even more farcical. This branch of the chain in particular is a place to miss out on. With badly stored beers, and a weak selection at that, the place fails in it's one task of satisfying the customers. Rough and overly crowded, five minutes in this place feels like an eternity. Honestly, I'm not even going to say any more. It's just a bit poor really!

As expected
This a chain pub and like the others in its chain its consistent in its style. Lager and roo burgers all round. Great for football viewing. Gets very busy at the weekend usually with a large queue outside before 11pm - so get there early.

Below expectations
The walkabout is a pretty cheesy bar. It opens late at the weekend, and for some unknown reason is always packed. The music is very cheesy. Most of the customers are either Australian or slightly too friendly men.
