This tiny, unassuming restaurant between Tuffnell Park and Archway stations is a true word of mouth success story.
One Chef (on full view) One waiter (working his arse off) Wonderfully fresh ingredients (all on display in the open kitchen)
Its a unique place and well worth a visit. I would book a few days in advance though, especially at weekends

Great north London find

I have to agree with the previous reviews - this tiny little place is an amazing North London find.
There are only a small number of tables here, so booking is essential, but well worth it.
The food is cooked by one chef in a small kitchen in the centre of the restaurant, so you can see it all happening in front of you. This sometimes means that you have to wait your turn for your order, but if you sit and soak up the atmosphere you wont be disappointed.

Describing the food here as "tapas" doesn't do it justice. What you get are miniature culinary masterpieces with international influences - think similar to Gordon Ramsay's Maze and just as good, but a tiny fraction of the price. This is not just my favourite restaurant in the area, its the best restaurant in London.

Tapas? This place is the business

Beyond expectations
I've found it, the best place to eat tapas in north london. Well truth be told it was my housemate and boyfriend, but let's not dwell on the detail.
In fact there's nothing I can really say about this place that will do it justice. Just go along and sample it yourself, but please book otherwise you will be disappointed! I should know as I've been one of those people who longingly peer into vibrant front room like venue with only the vague memory of how good the last visit was for comfort.
