I have been a regular customer of Kamini for just over a year. I decided to visit this particular salon after reading a very positive review about eyebrow threading in the ES magazine. Since my very first visit i have been more than satisfied. The Kamini technique has given me the eyebrows I have always wanted and i always receive complementary comments about their shape. I enjoy returning to the salon, i like the low key atmosphere and always find all members of staff nice and friendly. Having read the previous reviews i feel i should add the following; I have for the past three years worked for two high end luxury departmant stores both who offer eyebrow threading, both cheaper than Kamini and even cheaper with staff discount. However i choose Kamini and her technique because i like what she does and how she does it. I have invested just over a year with Kamini and i feel it has been worth every penny, i don't touch my eyebrows at all between sessions, in fact i've not touched them since my first visit. She told me not to pluck so i did'nt. I took her advice and it has paid off. I think the less than complimentary reviews are not a fair representation of Kamini. Yes sometimes i have had to wait but sometimes i have been late these things happen. It is after all the woman herself, her technique and skill that I pay for. However long you may have to wait i think she is worth every penny. I for one will be returning.

Best threading experience I have ever had. This is only my second time with Kamini and my eyebrows look perfect.... I look forward to the time when I only have to come back infrequently.

i have just read the above reviews and am frankly astonished and feel that i, as a regular customer, should stand up for Kamini who is a great beauty therapist and her lovely comfortable and friendly state of the art salon. neither my daughter nor i have ever been kept waiting so maybe the above ladies just caught the salon on a bad day. With treatments only taking half an hour in some cases so that several are shceduled into any one day, it just takes one client to be late for a back log to occur. We accept this with doctors and dentists so why not at a busy beauty salon? I always allow time either end for any appointments I make because of the 'human' factor. I certainly can't believe that Kamini herself was ever 'rude' - in all the years my daughter and i have been going to the salon for my brows, waxing, mancures and pedicures , facials, and massages, we have always found her to be the one person in the demanding beauty industry who is always good tempered and polit.e. In fact I sometimes would like to be kept waiting a little while so that i can sit in the salon's fab 'massage chair' which is dead relaxing! Sally N from Fulham.

It is amazing that with a review like the preceding one, Kamini does nothing about changing her practices. I have just abandoned my appointment having been kept waiting yet again. The poor young things at reception despair and admit that this is a constant complaint and that Kamini merely shrugs when informed of the irritation caused to her clients. She is operating in a service industry and perhaps might do well to remember that. I, for one, shall not be returning.

Kamini does amazing things with eyebrows. However at £45 a pop for some artitry using mere thread- one would expect this. Regrowth takes a while so you don't have to go back that often. And this, believe me is the only bonus about it all. Kamini's complete disregard for wasting customers time is astonishing. I have been easily kept waiting for up to an hour on more than one occassion with no apologies whatsoever. When this is questioned, Kamini's breezy dismissal for wasting other people's time has frankly been rude and astonishing. If only the customer service would live up to the threading there would be queues around the corner. As one who loves her brows to be perfectly groomed, I have found places elsewhere equally as good (vaishalay's) and the same price. The difference being in the quality of service received elsewhere and a respect for people's time. And that, dear reader, makes all the difference!
