Went on a friday evening and as expected it was loud and busy. The decor is interesting but they certainly need some better chairs as they aren't very comfy. The food we ordered... weeping tiger, Chicken green curry, Grilled Tiger prawns & Pad Thai were all really tasty and great value.
Do try as worth a visit

Thai meets Gothic

Weird mix of Thai food and gothic decor like iron chairs and stone arches. The staff were friendly enough... the Pad Thai was fresh and lovely. Good place to escape the Market Square crowds

Nice menu, pleasant

Went in on a weekday lunchtime and found it quiet -- the decor is interesting - heavy wooden tables, very heavy metal chairs and candles with great crusts of wax. The service was fine and friendly enough. Food-wise, there's a spread of dishes (helpfully labeled with chillies to show how spicy they are). People in my group who'd been before agreed that the Pad Thai is the best dish. It was variable, though - my mate's sweet-and-sour chicken was too sweet, and in my meal the prawns were overcooked into unappetising toughness. I couldn't taste even a hint of the promised basil. But it was still tasty and the other meals were enjoyed. I do wish they'd heat the plates, though... some of my food was only just warm. Cost from £4.50 -- £7 for a main course, starters about £3-5.
