I used to live in a tiny tiny flat above this bar, so I have very mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, the smoke that used to pervade our flat (sneaking in through the air conditioning)was revolting. As was the thumping base that rattled the floor from 9pm till 2am every evening (even sundays). But these are all reasons not to visit the flat. The bar itself is a fine destination. Great cocktails. Very dark interior. Good on weeknights as it's rarely rammed and so you can snuggle up in a seat. There's more of a party atmosphere downstairs where the DJ resides.
