Best Kebabs in South West London

Beyond expectations
2 minutes walk along the Old Brompton road from South Kensington tube, Bosphorus provides a refreshing alternative to the ready meals offered by the Tesco Express opposite.
They have a great range of kebabs including doner, shish, kofte and huge mixed grills which combine everything. Kebabs come with free pitta, fresh salad and hot chilli sauce. I normally add in a small rice and go large on the extras such as their fresh humous, garlic mayo and tabbule which are all delicious. Most people tend to take away but you can sit on one of the small number of tables at the back of the shop or outside although both places are pretty noisy.
The guys behind the counter are absolutely great and combine good service and humour without getting in your face. I'd recommend this place to anyone who worships the kebab.

As expected
Now, im not a massive kebab fan. In fact I had my first only a few weeks ago. My friend assures me that they are in fact a totally balanced meal. I am not convinced. But I can tell you that the kebabs from here are in fact delicious. Not at all like road kill. Fast, clean and friendly. This place always has people eating on the small tables outside, which can only be a good thing. On the walls are loads of photos from the clientele, including frank lampard who is apparently a footballer. So Kebabs are food for athletes too.
