Literally, a gem

For years the V&A has been one of my favourite museums for the sole reason that it allows me to salivate, albeit in public, over the the stunning collections of jewellery and fashion.
Where else can you revel in tiaras and knitting?
When my Elizabeth Taylor-esque diamond fantasy has worn off, I decamp to the V&A shop which stocks a vast selection of design and fashion books, ceramics and, of course, jewellery. It's also worth going to see the temporary exhibits: the Kylie and the Golden Age of Couture exhibitions were both amazing.

The V&A is fantastic museum if you are interested in Art and Design. If you like fashion, interior design.. anything like that you'll love looking round. They also have special exhibitions (which you have to pay and book in advance) for more popular things like the clothes of Kylie last year!?! They have an amazing cafe, with a pianist and the most delicious cream teas. It's not cheap but it's such a fantastic setting and the scones and cream and jam are so good it's worth it.

This museum is divided in 150 section and it hosts the biggest decorative art's collection of the world. The museum is big but despite of this the majority of the objects are preserved in the storages becasue there's not space enough. Anyway the museum is interesting and you have to go there absolutly!!

Be sure to visit the café at the V&A - it's basically a branch of Benugo, but set in a stunning vaulted part of the building, which makes for a very atmospheric place for coffee, especially when it is quiet.
