Famous pub in South Ken, full of pink shirts and loafers, but inoffensive ones!

Does what it says on the tin, good selection of European Beers with good pub grub.

Can't go wrong really.

This is a very nice pub indeed and feels homely and local, but there's nothing that makes it truly stand out from the majority of Chelsea venues (for example I'd say the Hollywood Arms is more interesting).

It really does get rammed when the weather's nice so bear this in mind if you want to sit down or get a pint in a reasonable time.

The Anglesea is my new local. But there are more reasons to recommend it than the simple (but brilliant) fact that it's a stumble home for me. The pub has a great atmosphere, it's always rammed full of people. In the summer there are quite literally hundreds of patrons milling around both sides of the street clutching their pints and pashminas. It's actually quite dangerous. The food is good (there's a restaurant section at the back which I've never eaten in, but the nibbles and bar side orders are great) and the outside section has benches and heaters which means you can sit out there even in December and admire what is a lovely setting in the heart of south Kensington.
