A classic venue!

This is a wonderful venue...a huge classic building with enduring appeal. They get all the best gigs. I have seen a ballet, a charity comedy ball and the Cirque du Soleil here and all were equally brilliant. The theatre space is adapted for each performace, with the majority of the action taking place at the front with semi circular seating, though they have put on pop up central stages and all sorts. Every Londoner should, and probably will, check something out here.

I love it! What a venue! It's one of the most beautiful / historical venues in London and I feel privileged to have attended gigs there. A venue famed for classical concerts I was rather reticent about seeing indie/rock bands there but the acoustics are truly special.
It was very easy to get drinks at the bar and it seems wherever you are in the venue you have the most amazing view.
Great, great venue by all accounts and thank you Albert Hall for providing with me with one of the most amazing moments ever at a gig (Noel Gallagher you are a legend!)
awsome

We`ve just visited the hall for the second time recently, watched some indoor tennis there, wow, what a stunning venue. The posh people wound us up a bit but if you can see through that then its brill

The Albert Hall Rocks!

Went to see The Fratellis there a couple of weeks ago and the Albert Hall is an awesome venue.
Pretty much the only downer was the jobsworth door people that they had working there who came across as a wee bit snooty. That said it may be just that they're not accustomed to dealing with 1000s of drunken rock fans jumping around and falling down the stairs most nights!

We went to classicFM live last night - was quite an etertaining concert - but be warned to check your order form if you're ever ordering catering..... the cheese plate for 8 people was lovely on the cheese front, but sadly lacking on the cracker front - just 6 crackers for 8 people ...... SHAME!

If you are scared of hights, whatever you do, don't get the £4 tickets for concerts because you will be right up in the gods- it is truely terrifying.
That aside, I love the Albert Hall. The staff are friendly, and I have yet to see a performance I have been disappointed with. The bars are good- but get there early if you want an interval drink or you won't have time to. I can't remember if they offer a service to order your interval drinks before the start. If they do, use it.
The "mushrooms" on the ceiling are mightly funky too- make sure you look up when you are there!
